You might not like reading, and you might want to find an excuse for not to read.
And you are probably one of those people who does their daily reading on your social media account, and on the subtitles on the movies you watch. Well if you dont read regularly, im here to tell you that you should get started. Why? Let me tell you.
If youre one of those people who´s stressed out on a daily basis, reading will help you out. Believe it or not, when you really lose yourself in a good story, all your worries just disappear, and all you can think about is the story your reading.
Everytime you read you learn something new, and you never know when it comes in handy. The more knowledge you have, the better prepared you are to handle all the different situations and challenges you might have.

Just like any other muscle in the body, your brain needs exersice to stay in shape. And reading might even prevent the risk of getting Alzheimer’s and Dementia, since keeping your brain acitve keeps it from losing power.
#4 Expands your vocabulary
The more you read, the more words you are exposed to. And since your vocabulary is more advanced, you will begin to see that you be a more articulate person. And being a well-spoken person can help you out a lot in a lot of professions, and it will give you a big bonus at the job interview.
#5 Improves Memory
When you are reading there is often a lot of things to remember, the characters background stories, the environment, the story of the book, there is a lot of things to keep in mind, and by remembering all of those things your brain gets used to remembering, and as i said earlier, the brain i a muscle so train it and it gets stronger.
